Caitlin LeachKasbah just dropped a massive announcement that they have been given planning permission to build a new area of the club, on a temporary basis.
They released a cryptic statement on their Facebook page showing that they were granted planning permission for "Area 5" on the 31st August and that date only. Kasbah captioned the picture: "Our biggest ever event is taking shape."
Kasbah did not reveal any details about what the area is intended to be. However, one Facebook user commented on their post speculating whether it would be a rooftop garden area. Kasbah responded "All will be revealed soon."
Kasbah are due to hold another daytime rave on the 31st August, the date shown on the licensing papers. The club is hosting some pretty big names for the event, such as DJ EZ, Low Steppa and DJ Zinc. Whatever is being built seems to be intended for this event, and we can't wait to find out what it is.
This will be the first change to happen to Kasbah since they unveiled their long-awaited refurbishment last summer ahead of Freshers week.
