Mia Bladon is the Features Editor for The York Tab. As well as writing and publishing her own articles, Mia edits and publishes the feature articles of the rest of the writers at The York Tab

As well as being Features Editor for The York Tab, and a regular writer for both The York Tab and The Tab UK, Mia is a dancer, poet, and cat-lover. She trains in a multitude of dance styles. Also, she performs her original poetry at open mics

Mia joined The York Tab as a writer during her first year of university, and has written articles for both The York Tab and The Tab UK across her first and second years of university. She is now in her third year of university. As Features Editor, Mia continues to regularly write and publish feature articles, often focusing on wellbeing, mental health, and experiences of women and the LGBTQIA+ community in York

Education

Mia Bladon is in her third year of studying BA English Literature (Hons) at the University of York. A recipient of an Academic Excellence Award, obtained as a result of exceptional attainment at A-Level, Mia's passion for literature, especially poetry, and her passion for journalistic writing, has flourished even further at university
