You can watch pole dancing and win free entry to Kasbah this Monday in The Hub
You can also win waffles
If you haven't heard, there's a special event happening here at this university on March 18th at 8pm.
Coventry University's pole dancing society are hosting an event in Square One with tonnes of amazing pole-related performances as well as featured musicians from all around the U.K. All proceeds go towards The Kairos WWT (women working together), so it's for a good cause too!
The price for entry is only £4 and they will have special Kasbah queue jumps on sale for your favourite Bubble Luv Mondays for only £2! Yes, Kasbah is the official after party of the event so how could you say no?
They also have a raffle where you can win free waffles, free Kasbah entry, a free VIP booth for up to six people, three bottle of prosecco and even more. Plus the Square One bar is open in case you get thirsty. Which we know you will.
Who are The Kairos WWT?
The Kairos WWT work with women in Coventry at risk of sexual exploitation supporting them on their journey towards safety, stability and self belief.
If you want to further support the women in Coventry you can donate or volunteer, or just visit the website to find out more.
What it's like being in the pole dance society
In case you were thinking of joining, we asked a few members of the Coventry University pole dancing society to shed some light on what it's really like:
"Loads of strength is needed but when you do pole dance regularly it just naturally comes with time. You get stronger every lesson. We always remember to keep trying and never give up in order to push our bodies to new boundaries.
"There's also so many different styles and moves to learn that you'll never get bored. We just want to share the strength of women with this showcase."
Tickets are available on the CUSU website.
